Were you aware of the ways in which asbestos exposure can affect your lung health? Exposure to asbestos fibers can lead to respiratory diseases such as lung cancer, asbestosis, and mesothelioma.

There are a number of occupations at risk for exposure on the job. If you work in a trade where asbestos is known to be present, you should alert your doctor to the possibility of an asbestos-related disease diagnosis in your lifetime. This will ensure that they do not misdiagnose your condition for a similar disease.
